Special Education of People with Impaired Communication Skills

This study support contains input information from the following areas: organization of speech therapy (logopaedics) as a subject, organization of speech therapy care in the Czech Republic, a brief history of the field of speech therapy and the current concept of this field in individual sectors of education, health and social care. Further, it includes a description of the main types of communication disorders addressed by speech therapy. The study support is primarily intended for the students of special education.
